Woven Forms

Anything but your average shopping basket.

When you encounter a woven basket made from rusty barbed wire and pelican feathers you know you are dealing with some quite radical weavers. Object Gallery’s Woven Forms exhibition was a major survey of basket weaving across indigenous and non-indigenous Australia. Michael Donohue of Amplifier created the exhibition identity, exhibition graphic components and accompanying 104 page catalogue.

After working on the exhibition Michael has upped his game in the shopping stakes. The humble tote bag simply won’t cut it anymore.
