Place Making for the Future

The Place Leaders Association (PLA) is an influential alliance of public agencies in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. It works to improve the quality of place making in areas of significance through community engagement, debate, information exchange, and research and analysis. Its membership is comprised of public sector agencies that are planning or developing major urban land development projects or are managing contemporary urban precincts.

The PLA commissioned Amplifiers Michael Donohue to design and produce a  bi-annual book showcasing exemplary sustainable urban design projects . The series of books feature an innovative use of tracing paper overlays .
